This summary is about a power plant called Gemsolar that was built in Spain by Masdar (Abu Dhabi); it took 3 years to complete the building. According to this article, the power plant Gemsolar is said to be the first solar power plant to produce electricity continuously for 24 hours straight. The main goal of this Power plant was to make electricity 15 hours a day for the rest of its lifetime. They found ways to do their plan, but they had some shortcomings that endangered their whole plan. The main shortcomings were basically the range and temperature of the sun. In this article, they state that designing and building the power plant went smoothly, however, when it came to the money it was a little bit scarce for them.
